COVENTRY UNITED Manager EDWIN GREAVES comments on his team's victory at Pershore Town...

Manager's thoughts for the Pershore Town game:

"Firstly I would like to thank Pershore for performing miracles to get this game on. It was a great credit to everybody at the club.
The break has given our injured players time to get themselves fit, although it was important for me to see these players get minutes on the pitch. I was also able to give Richard Blythe his long awaited debut.
The night itself was wet, cold and horrible but away from home on a miserable Tuesday night is where mistakes can be made and points can be dropped. All I wanted from the night was the 3 points and we got them with a convincing 5-1 win.
This win keeps up our good run of late for us and with the goals spread out between Richard Blythe, Matty Brown, Josh O'Grady, Josh Blake and Chris Cox, I am very pleased.
Pershore caused us problems throughout the night and kept going even when going a man down but Richard Morris pulled off some important saves to keep them out.
Fingers crossed now that Saturday's away game at Pilkington goes ahead. It's another big game that I am looking forward to us playing. We have not reached the halfway point of the season yet, so let's all keep our feet firmly on the ground and remember it's just:
One Game At A Time..."
