BARNT GREEN SPARTAK 1-1 PILKINGTON XXX (PILKS WON 3-4 ON PENALTIES): THE VIEWS OF SPARTAK'S 'KEEPER RAGGY ALI & THE PILKINGTON SKIPPER KIERAN McCALLA... Also the link to 38 video clips from the tie...

RAGGY ALI, THE SPARTAK 'KEEPER, SHARES HIS VIEWS ON THE GAME:

"Today was a good performance, considering we have been battling in the league and despite us being in the relegation zone. We showed that we had true heart and desire to come back and perform against a firing Pilkington side which is in a higher division.

We had good spells in the game, where we passed it in and around the Pilkington half and came out on top with a firing goal by Nathan Greaves but they gained the equaliser in the second-half, which set us back a bit. We held on by some heroic saves by me of course, so off it was to penalties.

The Barnt Green players were tired and cramped up, so fatigue had come into play as the Pilkington side fired home to win the game, but I still think the penalties by the Barnt Green players should have been better.

The praise from the manager Gj was brilliant in the changing-room. It's been hard for him to watch us let him down week in, week out in the league but today I hope we did him proud.

I'd like to thank all the fans for the atmosphere in the ground and the two clubs today for putting on a amazing performance. I'd also like to thank Peter, who took his time out to take pictures and videos for the clubs that took part today..."

WHERE THE ACTION TOOK PLACE...

KIERAN MCCALLA, PILKINGTON XXX SKIPPER, COMMENTS ON THE MATCH TOO:

"We said from the start that if we moved the ball in ones or twos, we'd break them down, but we didn't. We wanted to hold onto the ball too long and they were in our faces, so we had to change our style a little bit and use our attributes up top, by going back to front quicker but with quality.

There was no real urgency to want to play with a tempo and when we did play with a tempo in one or two touch, we broke them down quickly and created chances. We were off the pace early on but started much better in the second-half and created a host of chances, where we should have wrapped up the game.

Their 'keeper made some excellent saves, along with some poor finishing from us, which has been the case for a while now.

All in all it was an OK performance but we remain disappointed with it, although happy to progress through to the next round."
