BROMSGROVE SPORTING SKIPPER CRAIG JONES (RIGHT) COMMENTS ON HIS TEAM'S 0-2 VICTORY @ LICHFIELD CITY:
"A Tuesday night away game at Lichfield was always going to be tough, especially with some players missing but the boys who came in were excellent. It was as if Fits and Jozsef had never been away.

I thought our first half performance, taking into consideration that we were kicking up the slope and against the wind, was as good as anything we have produced this season.

CJ in sticks kicked unbelievably well against the wind, the boys at the back were massive, the lads in midfield won second balls and tackles for fun and our forward thinking players gave us respite and creativity when we needed it.

We probably should've gone in more than 0-2 up.

2nd half I thought it would open up a bit more than it did after the first 20, but we kept our graft levels, chat and discipline from the first-half to see the game out without ever really looking like conceding.

I think everyone involved with Bromsgrove can be proud of the performance last night. I've been at the club a few years and we've never won at Lichfield, so it was great to finally break that hoodoo, but we've got to keep those same performance levels up in the weeks to come and hopefully we will get our rewards at the end of the season.

A big thanks from the boys to the fans that travelled over to Lichfield on a cold and wet Tuesday night too: it still amazes me the support we get wherever we go.
