NUNEATON GRIFF'S JOSH RUFF COMMENTS ON HIS TEAM'S 2-2 DRAW AGAINST LEICESTER ROAD...

JOSH RUFF, TODAY...

"I thought we were poor today, didn't start well and didn't really establish ourselves in the game.

We gave away a sloppy goal, looked lethargic, seemed slow out of the blocks and could have gone in at half-time 0-3 down.

Second-half, I thought we were a totally different side, we looked a lot sharper and the goals seemed justified. I honestly thought we would have gone on to win at 2-1 but that wasn't to be and the ball fell nicely for the lad in the box and we couldn't do a lot about it.

At half-time we would have taken a draw with how we were playing but now we feel like we've given away two points.

Lots more to play for though and there will be many more twists in the tale to come!

Glad to have the two goals and the Man of the Match award but I would always rather play badly and stumble across the line winning 1-0 at this stage in the season!"
