BROMSGROVE SPORTING'S CHRIS JAY COMMENTS ON THE 3-0 LOSS TO ALVECHURCH...

CHRIS JAY, THOUGHTFUL BEFORE THE GAME...

"I think we were beaten by the better side, so congratulations to them.

I was really impressed with Alvechurch, they gave us no time on the ball and pressed us high up the park. We created a couple of really good chances but failed to take them at crucial times in the game, whereas they were very clinical in front of goal and took their chances.

As a team we were disappointed with the first 2 goals we conceded as we felt we could have dealt with them a lot better than we did on the night.

We are back to league action this weekend so we've got to dust ourselves down and get ready for the fixture against Racing Club Warwick. Hopefully we can get maximum points from our remaining games of the season and I don't think we will be far off winning the league.

Also a special mention to our fans again who turned out in their numbers at Evesham's ground for the final. Sorry we couldn't get the result for you..."
