COALVILLE TOWN'S BRAD MUNN WRITES ABOUT THE 4-1 DEFEAT @ CARLTON TOWN...

BRAD MUNN...

"I think in the first-half we moved the ball much better than in our first game of pre-season and were dominant in spells. They hardly threatened our goal in the first-half and the chances we created warranted more then we got.

If we create the chances we must be more clinical going forward. It was a game of strange decisions from the off and going behind with their first attempt at goal and then from a very, very strange penalty pretty much killed the lads for the second-half.

In the second-half, because of the events in the first-half, it kind of showed that we started taking too many touches and just not playing how we did in spells in the first-half, when we were more effective.

After the first 5/10mins when we were good again and dominated, it just seemed that everything they hit went in.

In all a very frustrating day result wise but the positives are that the lads got minutes in and that was needed. Hopefully we capitalise on good play earlier on in games going forward..."
