MONTPELLIER'S KYLE BISHOP WRITES ABOUT THE 1-5 WIN v TORBAY POLICE FC...

MONTPELLIER'S BIG NIGHT OUT, HENCE THE SLUGGISH START...
TYPICAL EDWARDS, RIGHT AT THE FRONT...

"Montpellier started off very slowly for the first 10/15 minutes, but this was expected due to the Saturday big night out...

After this period we then calmed down and took the majority of the possession. We started to create chances and a couple came close. After the first goal went in we then calmed down and the chances kept coming with great movement from the strikers and good through-balls from the midfielders.

The defence looked solid throughout the game, we did concede one goal which is never nice but as it was a charity game, it was nice for the fans to see.

This was a good confidence boost for the team as it was our first win of this pre-season. I think we are now getting stronger and gelling more as a team and there should be a lot more wins coming our way.

Personally and as a club we would like to say thanks to Torbay police and the community for their hospitality and all the best for the rest of the season..."
